Stuff to pin ... but it won't let me : (

I love pinterest ... absolutely love it. But there is stuff on there that they won't let me pin cause the linked site is spam (or something else no no). So I thought I would just add that stuff here and pin it myself. Here's credit for the pin "Stampin Up melindac62" : )

Enjoy : )

January 2010 Christmas Card

Every January I do an inventory of all the things that I've accomplished the previous year and make a list of the things that I want to accomplish in the current year. This year it was a simple list ... complete more projects!!

We've done really good so far. Bathroom completed, well minus the ceiling paint. Scrapbook room reorganized. Clean sweep of the living room. And all that just in January.

I've even finished my January Christmas Cards.

Happy Holidays

I'm off to start my Valentine's Cards tonight. Enjoy your Monday!

January Christmas Cards

I started the Christmas Card challenge for http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/.

Here are the 10 cards that I did for January.

I was just so pleased with the way that these turned out. I was inspired by a card that I took from a class that Sharon Doan taught a couple of years ago. I think the card was a birthday card (I don't quite remember now that I think about it) ... but the fold was all hers and I think it just makes the card.

The inside is a cute sentiment from "Stampin Up" (R) Jolliest Time of the Year 2007. Colored paper is from Provo Craft.

December/January Birthday Cards

Couple cards that I made for two co-workers and a friend of my mom's. December/January birthday cards are always fun for me to make and a challenge. I like to make them very different from the Christmas cards that we send out so that the person receiving them knows that I didn't just slap something together that I had lying around ... ya know "left over's from the holidays".

On a dog note, both of my dogs had an feast with 2 boxes of See's candy this afternoon/early evening ... something that they got into while Dave and I were at work. So the post tonight is a little late ... and there was no card making in Mandie's evening, which was really too bad. I was looking forward to starting my Thank You! cards from Christmas (shame on me for being tardy this year.) Sigh ... maybe tomorrow night.
